13 officers, 2 military units received the Fatherland Protection Medal
The 78th Regiment, the Engineering Officers' School and 13 officers and soldiers of the army have just received the Fatherland Protection Medal.
Engineering Officer School receives Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal
On December 26, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Engineering Officers' School (Engineering Corps) held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Traditional Day (December 26,55 - December 26, 2025) and received the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal.
Authorized by the President, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense - awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Engineering Officers' School.
On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, giving a congratulatory speech at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang warmly praised the achievements and feats that the Engineering Officers' School has achieved over the past 70 years.
Regiment 148 receives Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal
On December 22, in Tuyen Quang province, the 140th Regiment, Division 316 (Military Region 2) held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day (December 22, 1945 - December 22, 2025) and received the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal.
Authorized by the President, Major General Tran Van Bac - Commander of Military Region 2 - awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the 78th Regiment.

Awarding the Fatherland Protection Medal to Border Guard officers and soldiers
On December 22, the Border Guard Command of Quang Ngai province held a ceremony to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025) and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2025).
At the program, authorized by the President, the leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command awarded 13 Fatherland Protection Orders (ranks) to 13 officers and soldiers with many outstanding contributions to the cause of managing, protecting sovereignty and national border security.
