Vinh Long inaugurates bridges and roads to celebrate the Vietnam People's Army's Founding Day
Vinh Long inaugurates the 22.12 bridge and rural traffic road of An Hoa B hamlet, a meaningful project to celebrate the founding day of the Vietnam People's Army.
On the morning of December 22, the Department of Health of Vinh Long province, the Steering Committee for National Defense of Region 3 of Ngai Tu commune, along with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ngai Tu commune coordinated to organize the inauguration ceremony of the traffic bridge on December 22 and the rural road of An Hoa B hamlet.
These are two practical projects with profound political and social significance, contributing to the celebration of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025).
The 22km bridge project is 22m long, 3m wide, worth 220 million VND; the rural traffic road is 220m long, 3m wide, worth 220 million VND.
The total construction cost of 440 million VND was sponsored by the Hanoi donors and the Buddhists of Buu Quang pagoda, Tam Binh commune.
The investment in the construction of bridges and rural roads in An Hoa B hamlet contributes to completing the transport infrastructure system, creating favorable conditions for people to travel, transport goods, and students to school safely; while effectively serving the task of socio-economic development associated with strengthening national defense and security in the locality.
On this occasion, benefactors presented 50 gifts to people with revolutionary contributions in difficult circumstances in Ngai Tu commune, each gift worth 500,000 VND.
