Vinh Long Trade Union establishes 2 grassroots trade unions, 4 ward trade unions
Vinh Long - According to the plan, the Provincial Labor Federation is focusing on establishing 2 grassroots trade unions, 4 ward trade unions, and expanding its organization.
From April 13 to 17, trade union levels in the province implemented the process of establishing 4 ward trade unions including Long Duc, Long Chau, Tan Hanh and Phuoc Hau; and at the same time organized conferences to establish 2 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) at enterprises, contributing to improving the coverage of the trade union organization.
At the same time, units continue to direct the implementation of the target of developing union members, registering initiatives and striving to achieve the Creative Labor Certificate in 2026, improving the quality of trade union activities.
Inspection work has been strengthened, focusing on complying with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and managing and using trade union finances and assets at some units according to the set plan.
Trade union levels urge the collection of funds and union dues, and implement settlement according to regulations; proactively prepare to organize activities for Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026.
In addition, the plan to organize dialogues between provincial leaders and workers for the first time in 2026 was issued; the conversion of social funds and charity funds continues to be implemented according to new regulations.
Propaganda work continues to be promoted, with many products such as infographics, videos, especially serving the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031.
