Announcing the decision to establish grassroots trade unions, admitting 55 union members
On April 8, the Trade Union of Tan Yen commune (Bac Ninh province) held a Conference to announce the Decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Duc Huu Bac Giang Garment Co., Ltd.
Attending the Conference were Comrade Le Duc Tho, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of the Trade Union Affairs Committee; Comrade Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, Chairman of the Trade Union of Tan Yen commune.
Duc Huu Bac Giang Garment Co., Ltd. is a newly established company from May 2025 with the main business being garment, after nearly 1 year of operation, the company now has 2 production lines with 55 workers.
Always aware of the role of trade union organizations for workers along with the propaganda and mobilization of the Tan Yen Commune Trade Union, 55 workers voluntarily participated, meeting the conditions to establish grassroots trade unions.
At the conference, the Provincial Labor Federation announced and awarded the Decision to establish the company's grassroots trade union; launched the Provisional Trade Union Executive Committee.
Speaking here, Comrade Le Duc Tho - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that the establishment of grassroots trade unions is an important milestone, not only of legal significance but also opening a new phase in building representative organizations for workers at enterprises. Comrade Le Duc Tho acknowledged and praised the proactiveness and activeness of Tan Yen Commune Trade Union in the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions.
At the same time, the leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation wished the business leadership to continue to pay attention to and create conditions for the grassroots trade union Executive Committee to perform its role and tasks well. Along with that, coordinate to take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, and build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 10 gifts to union members and workers working at the Company.
