Ninh Binh spends more than 14.5 billion VND to help policy families remove temporary houses

Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the list of support for removing temporary and dilapidated houses for subjects who are biological children of resistance war activists infected with chemical toxins who are receiving monthly preferential allowances in the province.

According to the decision, a total of 326 households will benefit from the support policy. The total estimated implementation cost is more than 14.5 billion VND, mobilized from the "For the Poor" Fund managed and allocated by the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

In which, 158 households are supported to build new houses with a level of 60 million VND/household, and the remaining 168 households are supported to repair and renovate houses with a level of 30 million VND/household. The allocation of support levels is calculated to suit actual needs, ensuring the effective use of resources and improving the quality of works.

To ensure synchronous and effective deployment, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee is assigned to take the lead in receiving, reviewing and proposing the allocation of funds according to regulations. The Provincial Military Command plays a core role in organizing construction, coordinating with the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin and relevant departments, branches and local authorities at all levels.
