16 businesses in Hai Phong pay off insurance debts after dialogue
Hai Phong - 16/34 businesses in the western part of the city have just paid the entire amount of social insurance debt, contributing to protecting the rights of workers.
The People's Procuracy of Region 8 has just coordinated with Hai Duong Grassroots Social Insurance, Police and People's Committees of 6 wards (Hai Duong, Le Thanh Nghi, Ai Quoc, Tan Hung, Thanh Dong, Nam Dong) to organize a conference to propagate Resolution No. 205/2025/QH15 and work with businesses that are late in paying insurance.
According to a report by Hai Duong grassroots social insurance, there are 69 businesses in the area that are late and owing social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance with a total amount of more than 8.1 billion VND. Among them, 34 businesses owing from 50 million VND or more were invited to attend the conference.
At the dialogue, businesses exchanged views on difficulties in production and business activities leading to insurance debts. Leaders of the People's Procuracy of Region 8, along with representatives of Social Insurance and Ward Police, guided solutions to remove obstacles, and at the same time requested businesses to seriously fulfill their obligations to pay insurance according to legal regulations.
Functional agencies proposed that after the conference, businesses should continue to uphold the spirit of respecting the law, complete and sign minutes of commitment on the roadmap for paying insurance debts to the specialized collection account of the social insurance agency. Thereby, both fulfilling their responsibilities to employees and contributing to ensuring social security and state management order in Hai Phong city.
Through dialogue, businesses have received opinions from functional agencies and committed to fully fulfilling their obligations to pay social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance. Notably, immediately after the conference, 16/34 invited businesses proactively overcame violations, paid the entire amount of insurance debt, contributing to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers. At the same time, it demonstrated the practical effectiveness of propaganda, dialogue and coordination between functional agencies.
