Dialogue, answering questions about insurance for workers in Quang Tri
Quang Tri - Propaganda and dialogue on insurance, drug and black credit policies help workers understand their rights and raise awareness of risk prevention.
On the afternoon of October 19, at Thang Long Urban Development and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, Bac Dong Hoi Industrial Park, the Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) of Quang Tri province organized a conference to propagate and disseminate social insurance (BHXH), health insurance (BHYT), unemployment insurance (BHTN) policies, combined with dialogues on drug and black credit prevention and control among workers and laborers in 2026.
At the conference, reporters disseminated the basic contents and new points of the 2024 Law on Social Insurance; the rights and responsibilities of employees and employers in participating in compulsory social insurance; regimes, contribution levels, contribution methods and conditions for enjoyment. Regulations on health insurance, medical examination and treatment benefits and conditions and procedures for enjoying unemployment benefits were also specifically informed to employees.
In addition, the conference focused on propagating the harmful effects of drugs, crime prevention and control, drug evils and black credit among workers and laborers. Thereby, contributing to raising awareness and legal compliance, helping workers proactively prevent risks affecting their lives, jobs and working environment.
In the dialogue section, employees directly asked questions to representatives of functional agencies and trade union organizations about obstacles related to insurance benefits. The contents of concern included the conditions for enjoying pensions according to new regulations, procedures for enjoying one-time social insurance benefits, how to check the process of paying and closing social insurance books at enterprises. In addition, employees requested clarification of responsibilities and social insurance contribution rates during probation, as well as social insurance and health insurance regimes during maternity leave.
Opinions and questions were answered and specifically guided by representatives of functional agencies and trade union organizations, helping workers better understand the regulations, understand their rights and proactively protect their legitimate and lawful rights and interests.
Mr. Phan Thanh Lan - Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that propaganda and dissemination of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies associated with direct dialogue helps workers understand their rights and obligations, especially the new regulations of the 2024 Social Insurance Law.
In addition, propaganda about the harms of drugs, crime prevention and control, drug evils and black credit contributes to raising awareness and law compliance, helping workers proactively prevent risks and protect their legitimate and lawful rights and interests.
Thereby, contributing to building a safe and healthy working environment and harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
