Lao Cai Trade Union comprehensively cares for workers during Workers' Month
Lao Cai - Towards Workers' Month 2026, trade union levels and businesses are implementing many activities to improve welfare for workers.
On April 29, information from the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, the unit has just issued a document guiding trade union levels to closely coordinate with experts and Party committees to organize a series of key activities in Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health.
The focus is on improving working conditions, ensuring meals, accommodation and cultural facilities to regenerate labor capacity and improve productivity for workers.
The emulation movement "Good workers, good initiatives" is also being promoted, with the goal that each grassroots trade union has at least one initiative, and more than 50% is applied to production.
In parallel with material care, cultural and sports activities such as "Listening to workers sing - Singing for workers to hear", sports festivals, volleyball and pickleball exchanges... are also widely organized, creating a cohesive atmosphere in industrial parks.
In addition, housing support for "Trade Union Shelter", visiting workers in difficult circumstances, and direct dialogue with workers continue to be maintained, contributing to stabilizing human resources at enterprises.
