Hanoi City builds job market data into 4 groups: job seekers, business recruitment needs, training institution information and market data.
Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center - said that in the past time, the unit has strongly implemented digitalization by putting 9 online public service groups into operation, helping to reduce administrative procedures for people and businesses.
The Hanoi Job Information Portal ecosystem (launched in December 2025) is currently integrated with 15 nghiệp vụ subsystems, serving 3 user groups simultaneously (recruiters, job seekers and training institutions). The Job Portal has deployed a system to monitor candidates according to a 6-step process, with a two-way evaluation mechanism between employees and businesses after recruitment.
Every year, through job transaction sessions, the Hanoi Employment Service Center creates jobs for nearly 20,000 workers. In the first 9 months of 2026 alone, 161,000 jobs have been created; implementing unemployment insurance policies for over 51,000 people.
In addition, the Center has the task of consulting, career orientation, national vocational skill framework; job counseling for workers to choose job positions suitable to their abilities and aspirations; counseling on skills to participate in recruitment; on self-creating jobs, finding jobs at home and abroad; counseling for agencies, organizations, and individuals on recruitment, use and management of labor; on job management and development, human resource development; counseling on labor and employment policies for workers and employers.
Another key activity is organizing job introduction activities for workers; providing and introducing labor to employers; collecting, analyzing, storing and providing information about the labor market. At the same time, implementing the receipt and settlement of dossiers for unemployment insurance benefits.
Regarding the application of information technology, digital transformation in job service activities, labor market management and operation of job exchanges, Mr. Vu Quang Thanh said that so far, the Center has built a centralized database according to 4 groups: job seekers' records, recruitment needs of businesses, training institution information and labor market data (supply - demand, wages, industry trends).
