Green Car Transportation Company owes money persistently, many drivers continue to cry for help

Repeated commitments, money still not paid

In mid-April 2026, the collective of drivers sent a petition for help to Lao Dong Newspaper and functional agencies, hoping to be supported to recover their "sweat and effort" money. After the press and the Trade Union organization intervened, part of the salary and deposit money was paid.

After that, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hoang Xuan Quang - Director of Green Car Transport Co., Ltd. - continued to request a postponement until the end of August 2026 to definitively resolve the remaining debt to drivers. However, after the committed deadline, this amount has not been fully paid.

Indignant, the collective of drivers continued to file a petition for help (2nd time) to the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), the Provincial Department of Home Affairs, Quy Nhon Nam Ward Police, Lao Dong Newspaper and the Board of Directors of Green Car Transport Co., Ltd.

The collective of drivers believes that Mr. Quang shows signs of evasion, shirking responsibility and appropriating workers' money. Drivers request functional agencies and authorities at all levels to intervene, clarify responsibilities and definitively resolve the salary and deposit money the company still owes.

We are poor workers, living only on our salaries. This is money from our sweat and effort to take care of our families, but it has been embezzled for too long. We propose that functional agencies intervene to investigate and request the company to definitively resolve the remaining debt, no later than September 30, so that we can soon stabilize our lives," the collective of drivers cried for help.

More than 167 million VND of driver's money still suspended

As of August 25, the time when Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation invited Mr. Quang to work for the 2nd time, the company had only paid more than 60 million VND to employees, not fully fulfilling the payment commitments.

According to Mr. Quang's presentation, Green Car Transport Co., Ltd. has 3 capital contributing members, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan contributing 50%, Mr. Phan Van Anh contributing 30% and Mr. Quang contributing 20%. Mr. Quang was appointed as director and also the legal representative of the company.

From March 2026, the partner has revoked all business vehicles, causing the company to lose revenue and solvency. At that time, the company still owed salaries and deposits to 41 employees with a total of more than 227 million VND.

After the company ceased operations, Mr. Quang drove a taxi to earn income to cover living expenses, and also borrowed "hot" money to gradually pay 26 employees with a total amount of more than 60 million VND.

Mr. Quang said that the remaining debt is about 167 million VND, but the remaining 2 capital contributing members did not pay together. According to him, although only contributing 20% of capital, he has paid more than 60 million VND, equivalent to nearly 1/3 of the total debt, while the remaining 2 members contributed 80% of capital. Mr. Quang said that all 3 members must be jointly responsible for paying the debt. Mr. Quang hopes that functional agencies will work with Ms. Xuan and Mr. Anh, requesting these 2 members to jointly resolve the debt for employees.

Many months of waiting, many commitments, but the salary and deposit of employees have not been resolved definitively. The collective of drivers requested functional agencies to urgently intervene and help them recover the money of sweat and effort that has been owed for a long time.
