Establishment of the Self-Management Group Model of Worker Dormitory 99 in An Giang
An Giang - The Self-Management Group of Workers' Boarding Houses was established to grasp the situation of living, employment, thoughts, and aspirations of workers renting rooms.
On the evening of September 28, at the program "Coming to Workers' Boarding Houses", the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized the announcement of the Decision to establish the Self-Management Group Model of Workers' Boarding House 99, at Dong Thanh hamlet, My Thoi ward.
The self-management group operates on the principle of voluntariness, self-management, democracy, coordination and compliance with the provisions of law, without generating organizational apparatus, without legal entity status. Members of the Self-Management Group work on a part-time, voluntary, and non-salaried basis.
The self-management group is headed by Ms. Cao Ai Quyen; 1 Deputy Head; 1 Secretary and members.
An Giang Provincial Labor Federation said that the task of the Group is to propagate and mobilize workers to comply with the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State, local regulations and boarding house regulations.
Grasp the situation of living, employment, thoughts, and aspirations of workers renting rooms; promptly reflect to the Trade Union issues related to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
In addition, coordinate to propagate and mobilize workers to implement regulations on security, order, fire prevention and fighting, environmental sanitation and building a civilized lifestyle in boarding houses; promptly reflect arising issues to the Ward Trade Union and competent authorities.
Coordinate with landlords, My Thoi Ward Trade Union and relevant agencies and units in activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of workers and laborers.
The Provincial Labor Federation directs, guides, supports and monitors the activities of the Self-Management Group; receives and summarizes reflections and recommendations related to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers for consideration and resolution according to functions or recommendations to competent authorities for resolution.
My Thoi Ward Trade Union is the direct focal point to monitor and support the activities of the Self-Management Group; regularly grasp the situation of workers renting rooms; coordinate with landlords, local authorities and competent authorities in propaganda, mobilization, care; receive, summarize and reflect, and propose solutions to arising issues according to regulations.
The Team Leader is responsible for operating the Team's activities; assigning tasks to the Deputy Team Leader, Secretary and members; maintaining contact with the Ward Trade Union and the landlord; summarizing and promptly reflecting the situation and recommendations of workers renting rooms.
In addition, the program also announced the Decision on consolidating and strengthening the Self-Management Group of Xuan Quang Workers' Boarding House, at Dong Thanh hamlet, My Thoi ward.
The self-management group is headed by Ms. Nguyen Thi My Yen; 1 Deputy Head; 1 Secretary and members.
