Grassroots trade unions propose solutions to pressing issues for workers
Grassroots trade union officials belonging to Cluster of Industrial Zone No. 6 reflect many issues directly related to the lives and jobs of workers.

At the Conference, delegates were informed about the situation of trade union activities in Industrial Zone No. 6 Cluster; the results of task implementation in the past time and key tasks in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Representatives of grassroots trade unions also exchanged and reflected on the situation of union members, workers and trade union activities at enterprises; and at the same time pointed out some difficulties and obstacles from practice.
Opinions focused on issues directly related to production activities, life and the rights of workers.
Listening to the voice from the grassroots level Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Do Thi Viet Ha - Specialized Member of the National Assembly's Law and Justice Committee highly appreciated the results in production and business activities as well as the work of caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers at businesses in the area.
She believes that with a large number of businesses, mainly foreign-invested enterprises, this sector is creating jobs for tens of thousands of workers.
Income, material and spiritual life of workers at many businesses are increasingly concerned and improved; regimes and policies for workers are focused on implementation.
Besides the achieved results, listening to the opinions of grassroots trade union presidents, Ms. Do Thi Viet Ha shared the difficulties and obstacles that are being posed for trade union activities and the lives of workers.
According to her, the housing demand of workers in industrial parks is still large. Many workers still have to rent boarding houses, while rental costs fluctuate, directly affecting their lives.
Paying attention to solving housing needs and gradually improving the quality of life will contribute to helping workers feel secure in their work and be attached to the business for a long time.

In her position as a National Assembly delegate and a full-time member of the National Assembly's Law and Justice Committee, Ms. Do Thi Viet Ha affirmed that she will study and absorb opinions and recommendations from grassroots trade union officials, union members, workers and businesses.
Feedback from practice is an important source of information serving the research process, participating in building and perfecting policies and laws related to businesses and employees.

The conference also identified key tasks in the fourth quarter of 2026, including focusing on firmly grasping the situation of union members, workers and labor relations at enterprises; improving the quality of grassroots trade union activities; promoting care for life, protecting workers' rights; strengthening dialogue at the workplace and promptly reflecting and coordinating to solve problems arising from the grassroots level.
