Lao Cai - 100-day campaign focuses on connecting health check-up, medical examination and treatment data and updating on VNeID.

On August 9, information from the People's Committee of Lao Cai province said that the province has just launched the 100-day campaign to create and update electronic health records on VNeID, striving for 100% of people to have health check-up data updated on the system.

The campaign is implemented until the end of October 15, 2026 throughout the province, aiming to promote connection and sharing of health data, gradually forming a unified personal health database, serving the management and care of people's health.

According to the plan, Lao Cai sets a target that 100% of public and non-public medical examination and treatment facilities that meet the conditions will be granted accounts and connected to the Health Data Portal of the Ministry of Health.

All periodic health check-up data and free screening data generated during the campaign are updated to the system.

The province also strives for 100% of medical examination and treatment facilities that meet the conditions to implement data interconnection for patients without health insurance; 100% of people have health check-up data created or updated Electronic Health Records on VNeID.

Updated data must ensure the criteria "correct, sufficient, clean, live", be able to be compared with the National Population Database and be digitally signed according to regulations.

In 100 days, units will focus on reviewing and upgrading information technology infrastructure, collecting and updating data, organizing training, completing inter-connection of health check-up and medical examination and treatment data, and at the same time checking quality and ensuring information security.

The Department of Health is assigned to take the lead in deploying, providing professional guidance and monitoring progress.

The Provincial Police coordinate to verify and compare citizen information; departments, branches and People's Committees of communes and wards coordinate to propagate, provide technical support and organize implementation at the grassroots level.

The campaign is associated with the Government's Project 06, administrative reform and digital transformation of healthcare, towards the goal of each citizen having an electronic health record on VNeID.
