Young entrepreneurs in Da Nang and students donate more than 300 units of blood
On the morning of May 30, the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association organized the Voluntary Blood Donation Day, attracting a large number of officials, members and students from universities to participate.
According to the organizers, in the morning, nearly 400 people registered to donate blood. As a result, the program received more than 300 units of blood to supplement blood sources for emergency and treatment at hospitals in the area.
The blood donation day with the theme "Young Entrepreneurs Acting for the Community" not only contributes to meeting the blood demand for the health sector but also spreads the spirit of sharing and social responsibility in the young entrepreneur community and the student generation. Many participants said that blood donation has become a regular activity, showing solidarity for community health.
Da Nang is currently one of the localities with a strong development of the voluntary blood donation movement. This year, Da Nang city is expected to organize 200 voluntary blood donation drives, striving to receive about 56,000 units of blood to meet the needs of medical examination and treatment at medical facilities.
To maintain a stable blood source, the city has built a widespread blood donation network with 190 blood donation clubs and more than 6,400 members ready to participate when needed. This is the core force contributing to ensuring a reserve blood source, especially in times of high treatment demand.
The voluntary blood donation day "Young Entrepreneurs Acting for the Community" continues to affirm the pioneering role of the force of young entrepreneurs in social security activities, and at the same time contributes to spreading the humanistic message about the act of blood donation to save people in the community.
