Visiting and expressing condolences to the family of a baby girl swept away by floods in Da Lat
Lam Dong - The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province visited, encouraged and shared condolences with the family of the girl who unfortunately was swept away by the flood and died.
On May 29, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province said that a working delegation led by Mr. Pham Van Duc - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province - came to offer incense and encourage the family of P.T. N (13 years old, 6th grade student) residing in Lang Biang ward - Da Lat.

Baby P.T. N unfortunately died after being swept away by floodwaters during the recent heavy rains.
At the visit, Mr. Pham Van Duc sent his deepest condolences for the family's great loss, and encouraged relatives to try to overcome the pain and soon stabilize their lives.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province supported the family of the girl swept away by the flood with 10 million VND from the province's Relief Fund.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also requested the Party Committee, government and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Biang - Da Lat ward to strengthen propaganda and remind people, especially children, to raise awareness of preventing accidents in river, stream, and pond areas.
At the same time, localities need to coordinate with agencies and organizations to promptly warn of dangers to minimize unfortunate incidents that may occur during the rainy and storm season; continue to care for and support victims' families in the coming time.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported: At about 1:30 pm on May 24, P.T. N and some other children were playing behind the garden next to the B'Nor B stream when they suddenly encountered floodwaters from upstream and were swept away.
Immediately after the incident occurred, functional forces and local people organized day and night searches.
At about 1 pm on May 27, the child's body was found in the Dan Kia lake area, about 6km from the scene of the accident.
