TKV supports 1.4 billion VND to build 20 humanitarian houses in Quang Ninh
Quang Ninh - Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited has just supported 1.4 billion VND to build 20 humanitarian houses in Quang Ninh.
On May 28, the Quang Ninh Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV) and local authorities to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the humanitarian house for the family of Mr. Le Sy Van, in Phong Hai 2 neighborhood, Lien Hoa ward.
This is the first project in the 2026 humanitarian house construction support program sponsored by TKV through the connection of the Quang Ninh Provincial Red Cross Society.
According to the program, TKV supports the construction of 20 humanitarian houses for households in difficult circumstances in Quang Ninh province.
Each household is supported with 70 million VND, with a total budget of 1.4 billion VND.
Mr. Le Sy Van's family is in difficult circumstances. The couple is old, in poor health, and often sick, requiring prolonged treatment.
The house where the family is living was built in the 1960s, and is now seriously degraded, with cracked walls and leaking roofs, no longer ensuring safety, especially during the rainy and storm season.
