Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu signed and issued Conclusion No. 36-KL/TW of the Politburo on awarding the 80-year Party membership badge or more.

Conclusion No. 36-KL/TW clearly states: At the meeting on May 22, 2026, considering Report No. 111-BC/BTCTW, dated May 21, 2026 of the Central Organization Committee on the results of awarding the Party Badge of 80 years of Party membership or more, phase 19. May 2026, the Politburo basically agreed with the Report of the Central Organization Committee.

Promoting the achieved results, the Politburo requests Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, and mass organizations at all levels to focus on performing well some of the following tasks:

Assign the Central Party Office to preside over and coordinate with the Central Organization Committee to advise on the plan to assign Party and State leaders to directly attend and award Party Badges to Party members with 80 years of Party membership or more in annual award ceremonies, associated with major anniversaries of February 3, May 19, September 2 and November 7 according to the Regulations on Party Charter implementation at Party committees directly under the Central Government.

Assign the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee to preside over and coordinate with research agencies to promote propaganda and education on the political significance, historical value and revolutionary tradition of the Party Badge awarding; research and develop appropriate forms to preserve and spread revolutionary stories, images, memories and typical examples of veteran Party members, contributing to fostering revolutionary ideals, consolidating belief, arousing the spirit of dedication, responsibility to set an example and building images and standards of Party members in the new development stage of the country.

Assigning provincial party committees, city party committees, and party committees directly under the Central Government to continue to lead and direct the organization of awarding Party Badges to ensure solemnity, thoughtfulness, substance, and true political significance; associated with propaganda and education of revolutionary traditions, exemplary responsibility of party members, thereby becoming a widespread and meaningful political activity throughout the Party and society, creating a strong spread among cadres, party members and the People.
