Spreading advanced examples, arousing the spirit of creativity in labor

Attending the conference were Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tri - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

Mr. Nguyen Ha Xuyen - Chairman of the Vietnam Agriculture and Environment Trade Union shared that the conference is an opportunity to recognize typical collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style.

It is worthwhile that studying and following Uncle Ho is increasingly associated with daily work: improving the quality of training, scientific research, digital transformation, innovation, building harmonious labor relations and better caring for union members and workers.

From the College of Economics, Technology and Fisheries with activities linking studying and following Uncle Ho with improving training quality, digital transformation, and business linkage; to the Vietnam National University of Agriculture with the model "Forming an innovative startup and digital transformation ecosystem" - all show that: learning from Uncle Ho starts from responsibility, dedication and determination to do better every day.

To continue to promote the role of trade union organizations in the new period, Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Tri requested the Vietnam Union of Agriculture and Environment to closely follow grassroots levels, listen to and grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers and the difficulties of businesses, ensuring activities aimed at practical benefits of union members and workers and the healthy development of units.

At the same time, strongly shift from organizing movements to creating specific results, taking productivity, quality, jobs, income, labor safety and the satisfaction of union members as a measure of effectiveness.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the Industry Trade Union has achieved in the past time, and emphasized the role of the emulation movement in industry development and improving the lives of workers.

Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu assessed that in the past 9 months, although the Agriculture and Environment sector has had to perform many important political tasks, and at the same time faced many difficulties due to climate change, the world situation and external impacts, the team of union members and workers still made efforts to overcome difficulties and actively contribute to the implementation of the sector's tasks.

I am very pleased to witness the typical faces present at today's conference. These are people who are making practical contributions to the goal of double-digit growth, national innovation and improving the capacity of the industry, meeting the requirements of national development," he said.

The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor assessed that each typical example has its own position, task and contribution method. Those are direct workers who constantly improve product quality; female workers who are good at state affairs and good at housework; and trade union officials who are dedicated and attached to union members and workers.

To achieve today's results, each individual must overcome many difficulties in labor, production and family life. Some people stay up late, wake up early, spend a lot of time researching, turning concerns into works, topics, and initiatives with practical value. Many trade union officials are also willing to put aside their private work, spend time accompanying and supporting workers.

From today's conference, he hopes that the collectives and individuals who are commended will continue to promote the achievements they have achieved. Each title is not only a source of pride and recognition for the effort process but also a responsibility in spreading positive values. From one good person, one good deed, there needs to be more good people, many good deeds; from a creative individual, it is necessary to arouse the spirit of creativity in the collective.

In addition, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu suggested that the industry union should closely follow reality, grasp the situation at the grassroots level, review units that are still facing difficulties and operating ineffectively to coordinate with leaders to find solutions to remove obstacles.
