Vinh Long Front spreads solidarity through voluntary blood donation
Vinh Long - Vinh Long Front mobilizes people to participate in blood donation, care for social security, promote solidarity, and contribute to the community.
According to a report by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province, from September 7-13, Front work and socio-political organizations were deployed synchronously, associated with taking care of social security.
The Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization of Tan Long Hoi commune coordinated to organize the second phase of the 2026 festival, attracting nearly 150 participants, receiving about 100 units of standard blood, serving emergency and treatment.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee participated in the conference, inspection, supervision and social security activities; handed over 10 Great Solidarity houses, and presented 80 water tanks worth 100 million VND.
The Fatherland Front Agency coordinated with Pham Hung Political School to organize professional training on Front work and socio-political organizations at commune level, and issued certificates to 222 students.
Professional committees advise on inspecting the campaign to build new rural areas, supervising beliefs, religions, and digital transformation; organize social criticism of four drafts, and summarize six draft documents.
The Trade Union Affairs Committee trained professional skills for more than 2,340 grassroots trade union officials, developed 251 union members, established two grassroots trade unions; inspected charters, finances and activities to care for union members.
The Farmers' Association Working Committee issued cards to 341 members, inspected the capital source of the Farmers' Support Fund and disbursed 900 million VND to 20 borrowing households; deployed guidance on criteria for good production and business households.
The Youth Union and Children's Affairs Committee organized training for speakers, deployed the study of resolutions, political theory and activities to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Federation.
The Women's Affairs Committee trained professional skills for 209 Association officials, mobilized and supported 5,428 disadvantaged students with nearly 2.5 billion VND; and at the same time inspected new rural areas and cleaned up member data.
The Veterans Affairs Committee inspects entrusted loans, prepares training for the Association's work and inspection and supervision content. The Youth and Children's Activities Center maintains skills classes, clubs, and playgrounds.
The Farmers' Support Center organizes eight science and technology transfer classes on caring for coconut trees, shallots, rice and using fertilizers and pesticides safely and effectively for members.
