Electricity Union members have a new home before the rainy and storm season

Recently, at the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Nganh, an electricity worker of A Luoi Electricity Company under Hue Electricity Company (in Giong village, A Luoi 5 commune, Hue city), the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, the Central Power Corporation Trade Union and the Hue Electricity Company Trade Union organized the Inauguration and handover ceremony of houses under the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" for Mr. Nganh's family.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union and representatives of the Labor Relations Department; Mr. Tran Dinh Ha - Chairman of the Central Power Corporation Trade Union; Mr. Nguyen Dai Phuc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Hue Electricity Company; Mr. Tran Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Hue Electricity Company Trade Union, along with representatives of unit leaders, A Luoi Electricity Trade Union, colleagues, Mr. Nguyen Van Nganh's family and local people...

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union of Hue Power Company reported on the process of implementing support for building a house for Mr. Nguyen Van Nganh's family.

His family is classified as a poor household in the period 2026–2030, and his circumstances are still difficult. His wife does not have a stable job, mainly farming and farming; his two children are in 6th and 4th grade; he also supports his elderly mother who is old and in poor health.

Previously, his family lived in a temporary house built of bamboo and rattan, without surrounding walls and full door systems. In the conditions of A Luoi, heavy rain, thunderstorms and high risk of landslides occur frequently... while the old house is not safe, especially during the rainy and storm season.

Faced with that situation, the Trade Union of Hue Power Company coordinated with leaders and the A Luoi Power Trade Union to survey the reality, complete the dossier, and request the upper-level Trade Union to support housing construction costs for Mr. Nganh's family.

Implementing Joint Directive No. 630/CTLT-EVN-CĐĐVN of EVN Group and the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union on supporting the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses for workers, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union has supported Mr. Nganh's family with 200 million VND to build a house. The Trade Union of Central Power Corporation supported 50 million VND from the EVN Social Assistance Fund at the Corporation; Hue Electricity Company's Trade Union supported 10 million VND from the Company's Social Assistance Fund.

Along with that, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union presented Mr. Nganh's family with a fan worth 2 million VND... The total value of support funds and gifts is more than 262 million VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union congratulated Mr. Nganh's family on having a new, spacious, solid, and safe house.

Mr. Do Duc Hung affirmed that caring for and supporting union members and workers in difficult circumstances is one of the important tasks of the Trade Union organization; and at the same time hoped that the new home would help families stabilize their lives, children feel secure in their studies, and Mr. Nganh would have more motivation, feel secure in his work, and be attached to the Electricity industry.

Mr. Tran Dinh Ha - Chairman of the Trade Union of Central Power Corporation said that supporting the construction of housing for union members in difficult circumstances is a practical activity, showing the companionship and sharing of the Trade Union organization with workers. The support not only helps solve housing difficulties but also creates more motivation for union members to stabilize their lives and feel secure in their work.

Representatives of leaders of Hue Power Company and A Luoi Power Company also congratulated Mr. Nganh's family on having a new home, and wished him to continue to strive to overcome difficulties and successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Moved by the concern of the Trade Union levels, Mr. Nguyen Van Nganh expressed his sincere thanks to Vietnam Electricity Group, Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, Central Power Corporation Trade Union, Hue Electricity Company Trade Union and leaders and colleagues at the unit.

Mr. Nganh shared that the new house is a great wish of the family, helping his wife, children and elderly mother have a stable and safer place to live before storms; and at the same time is a source of encouragement for him to feel more secure in his work.
