Towards the 2026 Vietnam Women's Award Ceremony

The Central Vietnam Women's Union organizes a meeting of the Selection Council for the 2026 Vietnam Women's Award. The Award is a recognition and honor of outstanding contributions of collectives and individual women in all fields of social life.

The Council has received a total of 54 nominations, including 46 individual applications and 8 typical collective applications. The Award Council has selected 47 applications.

The strong spread of the award is clearly demonstrated through the diverse nomination structure, originating from 11 central ministries, departments, and branches; 2 socio-political organizations; 15 People's Committees of provinces and cities directly under the Central Government; along with universities.

All submitted dossiers are accompanied by a list, detailed achievement reports, showing careful screening right from the grassroots level.

Members of the Council highly appreciated the quality of the dossiers participating in 2026. The individuals and collectives introduced not only have a long history of outstanding achievements in professional work but also are imbued with inspiration, spirit of overcoming difficulties, innovation in scientific research, labor production, state management, education, health as well as community activities.

The participation of a large number of units in the field of research and education has added many typical female intellectuals, reflecting the important contribution of women in the knowledge economy and digital transformation.

According to the plan, the Award Ceremony is expected to be held on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union (1930 - 2026) and Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.
