A series of activities will be organized in October to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union and Vietnamese Women's Day 20.

On September 24, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union held a press conference to inform about the series of activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the Union's establishment and Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.

Honoring the contributions of women

The series of events honoring women's contributions includes: the 2026 Vietnam Women's Award Ceremony, the second Nguyen Thi Dinh Award Ceremony and the launch of the "Women's Startup Innovation, Vietnamese Brand Raising" Contest in 2027.

The 2026 Vietnam Women's Award received 54 nominations from 11 Ministries, 2 socio-political organizations, 15 Provincial and City People's Committees and 2 National Universities.

Within the framework of the program, the second Nguyen Thi Dinh Award will honor 32 typical professional association officials out of about 4,000 professional association officials at all levels.
