Vietnam Social Security has guided social security agencies in provinces and cities on the payment of pensions and monthly social insurance allowances to beneficiaries.
According to Vietnam Social Security, 21 provinces and cities pay pensions and social insurance allowances through personal accounts on the first working day of the month; 13 provinces and cities pay on the second working day of the month.

Provinces and cities paying via account on the first working day of the month - November 2nd (Monday): Son La, Dien Bien, Lang Son, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Cao Bang, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Hue, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Ca Mau, Gia Lai, An Giang.
Provinces and cities paying via account on the 2nd working day of the month - November 3rd (Tuesday): Hanoi, Lai Chau, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Lao Cai, Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Dong Thap.
According to representatives of Hanoi Social Insurance, the total number of people on the list paying pensions and social insurance allowances in October 2026 is 608,641 cases with a total amount of: 4,549,539,024,474 VND. Of which, the number of people receiving through personal ATM accounts: 606,537 people (99.65%) with the amount of: 4,513,189,718,774 VND; the number of people receiving in cash at payment points is 2,104 (0.35%) with the amount of 36,349,305,700 VND...
Regarding the payment of pensions and social insurance allowances to beneficiaries in the Capital in November 2026, representatives of the Propaganda and Support Department for Social Insurance participants of Hanoi City said that according to the monthly pension and social insurance allowance payment schedule in the Capital, which is the 2nd working day of the month, in November 2026, the Social Insurance Agency of Hanoi City will pay beneficiaries through personal accounts on November 3rd (Tuesday); for cash payments to beneficiaries, the Social Insurance Agency will coordinate with the Post Office to develop a timely payment plan for beneficiaries after November 3rd.
In the payment period of October 2026, the Vietnam Social Security system paid monthly social insurance benefits to more than 3.56 million people, of which nearly 96% received money through non-cash methods. This result shows that digital transformation in the social insurance sector continues to be promoted, contributing to improving the quality of service to the people.
