Comrade Nguyen Van Thang becomes Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation
On November 4, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee held a conference to announce and hand over the Decision on personnel work.
The conference was chaired by Comrade Nguyen Van Phong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hanoi City Agencies
In Decision No. 218-QD/TU, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee decided to assign comrade Nguyen Van Thang - Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Chuong My Ward - to cease participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, cease holding the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Chuong My Ward for the 2025 - 2030 term; to work at the City Labor Federation to perfect the position of Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee assessed that Comrade Nguyen Van Thang used to be the Secretary of the City Youth Union, then returned to work in Chuong My district, a land with many difficulties and developed industrial parks, and had accumulated a lot of experience from practice. Considering the requirements and demands of the Trade Union organization in the new period, the City Party Committee decided to transfer him to the City Labor Federation, introducing him to be elected as Chairman of the City Labor Federation.
Comrade Nguyen Van Phong expressed his confidence that in his new position, Comrade Nguyen Van Thang will be able to promote his enthusiasm, lead the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers, and the Trade Union organization of the Capital to develop, maintain and promote the nature and strength of the working class in the new period, and actively contribute to the cause of industrial and social development in the country, especially in the context of many changes in the Trade Union organization model.
He also hopes that the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Federation will coordinate and create favorable conditions to help Comrade Nguyen Van Thang catch up and complete the assigned tasks well.
