Request to study pilot models of high productivity and good income for miners

On the afternoon of September 29, a delegation of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour led by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour - visited, surveyed production activities and worked with Deo Nai Coal - Coc Sau - TKV Joint Stock Company in Cam Pha ward, Quang Ninh city.

At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan acknowledged the high efforts of the company's collective of employees in promoting the spirit of "Discipline and Unity", overcoming difficulties, performing production and business tasks; and at the same time acknowledged the coordination between business leaders and trade unions in caring for life and implementing welfare regimes for employees.

The Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor proposed that the company research and register to build a model to implement the movement "Good labor, high productivity and good income", based on the production conditions and practical experience of the unit.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that ensuring occupational safety and health and occupational health is a particularly important requirement for the coal industry. Trade unions need to proactively coordinate with professional departments to develop regulations and strengthen supervision of implementation.

Trade unions should not only stop at visiting and encouraging when accidents and incidents occur, but also proactively implement from the prevention stage.

According to a report by Deo Nai Coal - Coc Sau - TKV Joint Stock Company, in the first 9 months of 2026, production activities faced difficulties due to weather, increased fuel and raw material prices. Coal production reached 2.328 million tons, equal to 73% of the annual plan; coal consumption reached 2.883 million tons, equal to 90% of the annual plan.

The company currently has 2,920 employees, with an average salary expected to reach 13.8 million VND/person/month.

In 9 months, the company organized vacations and supported treatment for 310 officials and workers; sent 85 workers to participate in the coal miner welfare program; organized vacations for 30 typical worker families.

The company is organizing 500 officials and workers to go on vacation in 2026, with a support level of 6 million VND/person.

Previously, the working delegation organized incense offering and flower offering at the National Historical Relic, the Memorial Site of Uncle Ho visiting the Deo Nai coal mine and presented gifts to 15 workers and employees of the company.
