Nam Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union responds to Workers' Month with many practical activities
Ninh Binh - May 6, Nam Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union organized a ceremony to celebrate the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day and launched Workers' Month 2026.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation - along with representatives of leaders of Nam Hoa Lu, Tay Hoa Lu and Dong Hoa Lu wards, representatives of businesses and a large number of workers.
According to the plan to implement Workers' Month and Action Month on OSH in 2026, Nam Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union will focus on implementing activities to care for and protect the rights of workers such as: organizing the "May Dialogue" program, forums to contribute opinions on building Trade Union organizations, the "Thank you to workers" program, visiting union members in difficult circumstances, occupational accidents, and occupational diseases.
In addition, trade union levels also organize the "Trade Union Meal" program, coordinate periodic health check-ups for workers, promote cultural and sports activities, worker family festivals and innovation movements, and technical innovation initiatives.
With the theme "Vietnamese Workers: Innovation, improving labor productivity", Nam Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union strives to have at least 70% of affiliated enterprises organize activities to respond to Workers' Month or Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health; about 10% of union members and workers participate in proposing technical innovation initiatives.
At the program, the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to admit 157 new union members at the Trade Union of Trang An Investment, Trade and Service Co., Ltd.
On this occasion, the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation awarded Emulation Flags and Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building trade union organizations in 2025. At the same time, 15 gifts were presented to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances and 16 scholarships were awarded to children of workers overcoming difficulties and studying well.
