Hanoi - The City Labor Federation responds to the 2026 National Innovation Day emulation with 4 key tasks.

According to Mr. Do Trong Nam, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation, the emulation period to respond to the National Innovation Day 2026 in the entire Capital Trade Union system takes place from September 25 to the end of October 5.

To ensure that the emulation campaign achieves high results and brings real value, the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation requests the Trade Unions of wards and communes; Trade Unions of High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks; Trade Unions of Corporations and equivalents; grassroots trade unions directly under the City Labor Federation to focus on closely following and directing the good implementation of 4 key tasks.

First, create a strong change in awareness, promote propaganda about the role of science, technology, and digital transformation in improving labor productivity and competitiveness. Request to maximize the exploitation of existing digital platforms of the City and the Trade Union organization such as: iHanoi application, HanoiWork software, Fanpage system,... for communication. Determined to realize the message: "Each union member has an initiative, each trade union base has an appropriate innovation activity".

Second, link innovation and creativity with practical emulation movements of the Trade Union organization such as the movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income", the movement "Initiatives and creativity among workers and employees of the Capital" and the 90-day peak emulation period for union member development and establishment of grassroots trade unions in 2026.

In which, for the production and business sector: Grassroots trade unions focus on mobilizing employees to propose initiatives to improve productivity, technical improvements, save materials, ensure labor safety and hygiene and improve the working environment. For the administrative and non-business sector: Encourage cadres, civil servants, and employees to be creative in administrative procedure reform, application of information technology, and digital transformation to improve the quality of service for people and businesses.

Third, highly promote the role of the Trade Union organization. Trade unions at all levels need to proactively coordinate with employers, experts, and research institutes to introduce, connect and support the completion of union members' ideas; mobilize businesses to pay attention to receiving and testing initiatives, and at the same time, record, commend, and reward unexpectedly, worthily and promptly for individuals with creative solutions that bring practical value.

Fourth, depending on actual conditions, units proactively organize diverse forms of response such as: Initiative Day, Innovation Week, seminars to share experiences, or online and live idea contests.
