Vinh Long Labor Union focuses on taking care of Tet, accompanying workers
Vinh Long - Binh Ngo 2026 Lunar New Year, the Trade Union plans to spend more than 6.27 billion VND to care for and support more than 11,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
According to a report from the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, from January 19 to January 25, the activities of the Trade Union organization in the province were vigorously implemented, focusing on the grassroots, taking union members and workers as the center of service.
During the week, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor participated in many important activities, including the programs "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia", "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" and conferences related to the Trade Union, enterprises and workers.
Notably, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized delegations to visit businesses, union members, and workers at 17 companies in Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, and Ben Tre. Thereby, the Trade Union has both demonstrated its role as a companion to businesses and promptly grasped the thoughts and aspirations of workers to coordinate in removing difficulties. On this occasion, 360 gifts were given to workers in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized a conference to disseminate, study, and disseminate the Resolution of the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030 in three regions. The content focuses on key tasks, action programs and solutions to care for union members and workers during Tet.
Grassroots democracy work continues to be seriously directed through organizing conferences for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers' conferences, dialogues at the workplace and negotiating and signing collective labor agreements. The grassroots trade unions also coordinated to develop a salary, bonus, and Tet holiday plan for employees.
In particular, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor focused resources on taking care of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026 with a total budget of more than 6.27 billion VND through many forms of direct support, contributing to helping union members and workers feel secure during Tet, long-term attachment to businesses and trade union organizations.
