Vinh Long Labor Union takes care of Tet, encourages workers to overcome difficulties

On January 20, the working delegation of Vinh Long province visited, wished a happy New Year and grasped the situation at a number of enterprises with a large number of workers, including: furukawa Automotive systems Co., Ltd., Vinh Tien Garment Joint Stock Company, Kyungshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Megasurplus Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd.

The delegation included Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation and Mr. Nguyen Cong Truong - Deputy Head of the Investment and Enterprise Department - Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

At the destinations, business leaders reported on the production and business situation as well as the care for workers. Despite many difficulties due to market fluctuations, units are still trying to maintain orders, stabilize jobs, ensure income and fully implement policies and regimes for workers.

In particular, the Tet bonus work and support programs for workers far from home are of interest to businesses, prepared early to help workers feel secure in their work and stay long-term.

The leaders of the delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of overcoming difficulties of the board of directors and the collective of workers. These efforts not only contribute to helping businesses stabilize production but also play an important role in economic development and ensuring local social security.

Speaking at the working sessions, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized the role of the Trade Union organization accompanying enterprises in protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests and taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers. Maintain a safe, stable and harmonious working environment.

On this occasion, the delegation directly visited and presented 80 Tet gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, each enterprise received 20 gifts. Although the gifts are not large in material aspects, they have practical spiritual significance, contributing to encouraging workers to rise up and celebrate the traditional New Year in a warm and affectionate atmosphere.
