Caring for and ensuring welfare for about 75,000 workers during Tet
HCMC - Tet care work in Group 6 of the City Labor Federation has been taking place positively, ensuring salaries, bonuses, and benefits for workers.
On January 14, Area Management Working Group No. 6 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HFF) held a meeting with the trade unions of communes, wards, and grassroots trade unions (CDCS) in the area.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 6, there are 363 grassroots unions in the area, with more than 75,000 workers and laborers. Through understanding the reality, most enterprises have strictly implemented the regulations on regional minimum wages, there has been no situation of unpaid wages or unpaid wages at the end of the year. Labor relations are generally stable and harmonious, so that businesses maintain production and workers can feel secure in their attachment.
Currently, the work of caring for the Tet holiday in the area of Area Management Working Group No. 6 is taking place positively. Many grassroots trade unions participating in the meeting said that salaries, bonuses, and benefits for workers in the area are guaranteed. In addition to bonuses, Tet gifts, etc., forms of year-end care are flexibly implemented by some units, suitable for practical conditions.
For example, a representative of the Trade Union of Greentech Headgear Company Limited (Nghia Thanh Commune) said that the enterprise has planned and notified the collective of employees about the Tet bonus, ensuring compliance with the signed collective labor agreement. In addition, the union also has a Tet gift to send to all employees who are working.
Many other units also said that they ensure welfare and Tet bonuses for employees.
The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 6 requested that the trade unions of communes, wards, and grassroots trade unions in the area continue to closely monitor and monitor the implementation of year-end salaries and bonuses; at the same time, coordinate to mobilize resources to care for and contribute to helping workers celebrate Tet with peace of mind, warmth, and fullness.
