Taking care of Tet for more than 24,000 Dong Thap workers

The Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) has just issued a plan to take care of Binh Ngo Tet for union members, workers and laborers. With the motto of ensuring "All union members, workers and laborers have Tet, enjoy Tet" in the context of being the first year of celebrating Tet after merging provincial administrative boundaries and implementing local government at 2 levels.

The Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor has developed a plan with many practical contents, close to the legitimate and legal needs and aspirations of a large number of workers.

Accordingly, first of all, the Provincial Federation of Labor focuses on implementing a peak period of care and support for union members, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances, affected by natural disasters, suffering from serious illnesses or losing their jobs, contributing to stabilizing labor relations, ensuring social security; creating a joyful, exciting, safe and healthy atmosphere to welcome Xuan Binh Ngo.

In addition to promoting the financial resources of the Trade Union, the Provincial Federation of Labor encourages grassroots Trade Unions to strengthen connections and create consensus of interest for the whole society, especially employers, to increase care for Tet in both quantity and quality. Thereby creating motivation and confidence for workers to stay with the unit, enterprise and the Trade Union organization for a long time....

Therefore, in addition to the support level for over 24,000 union members and workers, the Provincial Federation of Labor encourages grassroots unions to base on the actual situation, support from businesses, local authorities and other social sources to decide on the subjects, quantity, and level of care appropriate to each activity.

Proactively participate with employers in publicizing the salary and bonus payment plan at least 20 days before Tet holiday; supervise the implementation of salary and bonus payment, working conditions, working hours, rest time, overtime; ensure adequate benefits for union members, workers, and laborers working overtime, working overtime, and working during Tet.

Coordinate and propose employers to organize "Union Year's Meal", age celebration activities, lucky money to celebrate the New Year, welcome employees and employees back to work after Tet holiday to continue production at agencies, units and enterprises

In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor also organizes many practical care activities, coordinating with culture, sports... to bring union members, workers, and laborers the full feeling of being cared for both materially and spiritually. Accordingly, the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" in 2026 will be organized at 4 Industrial Parks and Industrial Clusters; the program "Union Tet Market - Xuan 2026".

At the same time, organize tours to visit, give gifts, encourage and wish workers to stay in units and enterprises to work, produce and do business during Tet; visit workers working on New Year's Eve; visit workers in self-managed workers' dormitories who do not have the conditions to return home for Tet.

In particular, it is required that relevant departments and units speed up surveys to advise on organizing bus trips to and from union members and workers in policy families who have not had the opportunity to return home for Tet for many years.

The Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor requires departments and grassroots unions when implementing Tet care activities to combine with Party celebration and Spring celebration activities; welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party, term 2026 - 2031, National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031 and Trade Union Congresses at all levels.
