Thai Nguyen Labor Federation plans to spend more than 11 billion VND to take care of Tet for workers

Implementing the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor plans to spend more than 11.4 billion VND to organize activities to care for and give gifts to union members, workers and vulnerable groups on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026.

According to the Plan, caring activities are implemented with the theme "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, enjoy Tet". The programs focus on the grassroots, giving priority to union members, workers directly involved in production, people in difficult circumstances, those who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, and those affected by natural disasters and floods.

Of the total budget of more than 11.45 billion VND, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor directly organizes caring activities with a budget of 8.4 billion VND. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor supported 3.05 billion VND through the "Online Trade Union Tet Market" Program for union members and workers in the province.

Notable among the activities is the gift giving program for union members in difficult circumstances with 10,000 cash gifts, worth VND500,000/gift, with a total cost of VND5 billion. The Provincial Federation of Labor also organizes activities to directly visit 1,000 gifts, worth 700,000 VND/gift (including cash and gifts).

In particular, the programs "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" and "Union Tet Market 2026" are expected to be held at 2 major locations in the province. Issuing 6,000 free shopping vouchers at the Trade Union Tet Market, creating an exciting atmosphere, connecting union members and workers during the days before Tet.

Tet care activities not only contribute to ensuring social security but also clearly affirm the role, responsibility and position of the trade union organization in accompanying union members and workers.
