Union members and workers in An Giang receive Tet care at a higher level than previous years

In the context of many difficulties in production and business conditions of enterprises and the lives of workers, the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor has focused financial resources and implemented many activities to take care of the 2026 Lunar New Year for union members and workers with a scale, subjects and support levels higher than previous years. The goal is to ensure that all union members and employees are cared for, shared and have a warm and meaningful Tet holiday.

Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor - Do Tran Thinh said that, implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor determined that taking care of Tet for union members and workers is a key political task, closely linked to activities at enterprises and the real life of workers.

Activities to care for Binh Ngo 2026 Tet are implemented in a practical direction, to the right subjects, avoiding forms, prioritizing union members and workers directly involved in production; people in difficult circumstances, low income; people with work accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses; people with reduced working hours, job losses. Special attention is paid to union members and employees on duty for Tet, New Year's Eve duty at medical units, environmental sanitation, public services and specific occupations.

Key programs such as: "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" associated with cultural and sports activities, "Union Year's Meal", "Union Tet Market - Xuan 2026" are organized synchronously and diversely in form, creating a warm and cohesive atmosphere in enterprises, helping workers clearly feel the care and sharing of the Union organization during the traditional Tet holidays.

The highlight in taking care of Binh Ngo Tet 2026 is the financial resources that the Provincial Federation of Labor has focused on at the highest level ever, with a total estimated budget of 12 billion VND, supporting more than 10% of the total number of union members and employees under the Provincial Federation of Labor.

"The scale, level of support and the subjects of care for Tet this year are all higher than previous years, clearly demonstrating the determination of the Trade Union organization in accompanying and sharing difficulties with employees, especially in the context of many businesses still facing challenges", said the Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor.

Proactively focusing resources on taking care of Tet not only helps union members and employees have more conditions to celebrate Tet fully, but also creates a positive spread, attracting the attention and responsibility of business owners in taking care of employees' lives, thereby strengthening trust, building harmonious, stable and sustainable labor relations.
