The An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor said that the activities to care for union members and workers on the Lunar New Year 2026 have been implemented to improve both quality and quality. In general, the resources and subjects for Tet care are greater than in previous years.

Activities to care for the Provincial Federation of Labor's Tet, such as visiting, giving gifts, wishing union members and employees a happy Tet at enterprises and units with outstanding production and business results, large numbers of workers in difficult circumstances, low income, heavily affected by natural disasters, remote areas, arduous, toxic, dangerous occupations, etc. The expenditure level is from 1 million VND/person.

Serving the Party, State and General Confederation of Labor leadership delegations to attend and encourage union members and workers at the "Tet Sum Vay" Programs; "Union Year Meal" organized at grassroots trade unions, the estimated expenditure is 1.3 million VND/person.

Advising on the establishment of a Provincial Leadership Team to enterprises to encourage union members and employees at the "Tet Sum Vay" Programs; "Union Meal" at grassroots trade unions, the maximum expected expenditure is not more than 1 million VND/person.

The program "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" in the form of online (Online Tet Market); providing essential products, goods, and services to serve the needs of Tet at preferential prices, ensuring quality.

The Provincial Federation of Labor organizes a business New Year's greeting, especially for businesses that have made many efforts and supported to take good care of the lives of union members and employees, ensuring harmonious and stable labor relations.

The "Tet Sum Vay" program is associated with a series of cultural, artistic and sports activities to celebrate the Party, celebrate Spring and award support packages to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, serious illnesses, occupational diseases; awarding Trade Union Shelters, etc. The program is held at 2 locations: Provincial Labor Culture House (Long Xuyen Ward) and Provincial Labor Culture House (Rach Gia Ward).

At the grassroots trade unions, there will also be Tet gatherings, visits, gift giving, and New Year wishes. Requires rich organization and mobilization of social resources, especially those of employers, to care for and support union members and employees. Mobilize resources from businesses, local authorities and use Union financial resources, focus on those in difficult circumstances, low income, employees with work accidents, serious illnesses, and occupational diseases.

The value of the meal in the "Union Year's Meal" is 70,000 VND/meal from the Union's financial resources and the value from the sponsorship of the enterprise or other socialized sources.

The grassroots trade union based on the situation of union members and employees staying at enterprises and localities, not returning to their hometowns to celebrate Tet to organize warm and joyful activities bearing the Union's mark. In case many union members and employees do not return home for Tet, organize the "Tet not far from home" program or other appropriate activities; pay attention to visiting, giving gifts, organizing Tet for workers in boarding houses or on construction sites and projects.

Trade unions at all levels increase dialogue and negotiation activities with employers on production plans, salary payments, and Tet bonuses. The total budget to support union members and employees on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 is expected to be 12 billion VND (more than 10% of the total number of union members under the Provincial Federation of Labor).
