An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor signed a cooperation agreement on union member welfare with AGAPE
An Giang - The agreement aims to expand the welfare ecosystem, helping union members and workers access many essential products and services at preferential prices.
On December 2, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor and AGAPE GROUP Joint Stock Company ( Agape Welfare) held a signing ceremony of a Cooperation Agreement on a welfare program for union members and workers.
Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Do Tran Thinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam - Director of AGAPE GROUP Joint Stock Company and representatives of specialized departments under the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor.
The agreement was signed to expand the welfare ecosystem, helping union members and workers access many essential products and services (rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, milk, stationery, etc.) at preferential prices from 10% - 40%. All are genuine, have clear origins, ensure food safety and meet prescribed standards.
In addition to providing quality goods at preferential prices, Agape Welfare commits to supporting 100 million VND/year (or 200 gifts of necessities worth 500,000 VND/gift) to accompany the Provincial Federation of Labor in caring activities such as: visiting and giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances; organizing Tet Sum Vay, Workers' Month, Mid-Autumn Festival and other social activities.
During peak times, businesses also launch discount vouchers from VND50,000/voucher to support union members in difficulty in shopping for essential goods at Agape's welfare supermarket system, including fixed supermarkets, mobile supermarkets and online supermarkets.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Do Tran Thinh emphasized: The An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor always puts the task of caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers first. Signing with Agape Welfare is one of the important solutions to concretize the goal of union members being more beneficious when participating in the Trade Union. We hope that the program will bring practical support, especially for union members in difficult circumstances. The Provincial Federation of Labor will coordinate with AGAPE to find solutions to bring goods directly to enterprises with a large number of workers so that union members can shop more conveniently at cheaper prices or at least equivalent to supermarkets outside".
The two units agreed to continue to coordinate in developing an annual implementation plan, ensuring that the welfare program is increasingly diverse, sustainable and close to the actual needs of union members and workers in An Giang province.
