Lao Cai maintains the security of workers from the grassroots

Lao Cai currently has about 12,000 enterprises and cooperatives in operation; of which 42 enterprises employ over 100 workers, concentrated in the industrial parks of the South, Minh Quan, Tang Loong, Dong Pho Moi, Bac Duyen Hai.

This is a large labor force, playing an important role in the socio-economic development of the province, and at the same time, there are potential complicated factors in security and order if not proactively prevented.

Implementing the plan of Lao Cai Provincial Police to launch a peak period of attack, suppress crime, ensure security and order before, during and after the 16th National Congress of the Party, the election of 14th National Assembly deputies, People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term and Binh Ngo 2026 Lunar New Year 2026, the Economic Security Department has strengthened coordination with the police of wards and communes to grasp the security situation of workers in the whole area.

The focus is on industrial parks and enterprises with a large number of workers - places that are prone to arising labor disputes, illegal strikes, social evils, black credit activities or risks of labor insecurity and fire and explosion.

The working groups of the Economic Security Department have directly worked with the police of wards and communes such as Au Lau, Van Phu, Tang Loong... and coordinated to propagate and disseminate the law at many large enterprises in the area.

The content focuses on occupational safety and hygiene; fire prevention and fighting; electrical safety, machinery and equipment, helping business leaders and workers raise awareness of complying with legal regulations during the production process.

In addition, the police force also promptly warned about tricks to take advantage of inciting strikes, disrupting security and order; acts of lending at high interest rates, and illegal debt collection that risk encroaching on industrial parks, directly affecting the lives and jobs of workers.

Representatives of enterprises are required to sign a commitment to strictly implement regulations on security, residence, crime prevention, drugs, and the environment, contributing to protecting the legitimate rights of employees.
