Lao Cai Ward Labor Union gives livelihood to disadvantaged families
Lao Cai - The grassroots union has just supported 5,000 seedlings for a poor household, helping the family gradually stabilize their lives.
On January 11, information from Lao Cai Ward Trade Union, the unit has just visited and surveyed the housing conditions and forest land area of Ms. Doan Thi Loan's family, residing in Coc Lai Residential Group, Lao Cai Ward.
Ms. Loan's family is a poor household in the locality, in especially difficult circumstances. Her husband died early, she raised two young children alone, had no stable job, and had an average income of only about 2 million VND per month.

Through a field survey, Lao Cai Ward Union decided to support Ms. Loan's family with about 5,000 seedlings for planting forests. This is considered a livelihood support solution suitable for the actual conditions of the family.
This activity demonstrates the concern and practical support of the Trade Union organization in helping people in difficult circumstances to gradually develop the economy, stabilize their lives, and move towards the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.
