Lao Cai Labor Union visits and presents gifts to businesses and union members in difficult circumstances
Lao Cai - The Provincial Federation of Labor has just visited and grasped the situation at grassroots trade unions in the border economic zone.
On January 8, a working delegation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - President of the Provincial Federation of Labor in coordination with the Trade Union Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Lao Cai province visited, worked and presented gifts to union members and workers at T&D Group Joint Stock Company and Biti'S Lao Cai One Member Co., Ltd.
At the meeting, the working group directly grasped the organization and operation of grassroots trade unions after implementing the two-level local government model; at the same time, specifically learned about the number of union members, jobs, income, working conditions as well as the thoughts and aspirations of workers at enterprises.
The delegation also listened to and accepted the opinions and recommendations of grassroots trade unions and union members related to difficulties and problems in the process of implementing trade union tasks, developing union members, organizing emulation movements and caring for workers' lives.
On this occasion, the working group presented gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, contributing to sharing and encouraging workers to improve their lives.
The activities demonstrate the concern and responsibility of the trade union organization towards workers, thereby creating more motivation for union members to work with peace of mind, actively compete in labor production and stay with the enterprise for a long time.
