Standards for achieving the title "National Emulation Soldier" from October 2026

Clause 5, Article 1 of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2026, amending and supplementing Article 21 of the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022 stipulates the title "National Emulation Soldier" as follows:

1. The title "National Emulation Soldier" is awarded to individuals who meet the following criteria:

a) Having outstanding and typical achievements selected among individuals who have been awarded the title of emulation soldier of the Ministry, department, sector, or province twice in a row;

b) Having initiatives that have been effectively applied and are likely to be replicated nationwide or having scientific, technological and innovation tasks that are evaluated as effective according to the provisions of the law on science, technology and innovation, with a scope of influence nationwide or being resourceful and creative in combat, serving combat with a scope of influence nationwide.

2. Heads of ministries, departments, branches, and provinces consider and recognize the effectiveness and nationwide scalability of the initiative; consider and recognize the nationwide scope of influence of science, technology and innovation tasks.

The Minister of National Defense and the Minister of Public Security shall consider and recognize the ingenuity and creativity in combat and combat service with a scope of influence nationwide.

Thus, from October 1, 2026, to achieve the title "National Emulation Soldier", it is necessary to meet the standards according to the above regulations.
