According to the provisions of Article 5, Article 6 of Decree 335/2026/ND-CP stipulating social assistance policies (effective from October 5, 2026), the following subjects will enjoy a coefficient of 2.0 of the standard social allowance level:
Children infected with HIV/AIDS from poor households from 4 years old to under 16 years old.
Elderly people aged 75 and over who are poor households, do not have people with obligations and rights to support or have people with obligations and rights to support but these people are receiving monthly social allowances.
People with particularly severe disabilities, children with severe disabilities or the elderly are people with severe disabilities.
Clause 2, Article 4, Decree 335/2026/ND-CP stipulates: The standard level of social assistance is 540,000 VND/month.
Thus, from October 5, 2026, the above subjects will receive monthly social allowances of 1,080,000 VND (540,000 VND x 2).
