Monthly social allowance levels from October 2026 for people with disabilities

Clause 6, Article 5, Decree 335/2026/ND-CP stipulating social assistance policies (effective from October 5, 2026) stipulates that the subjects entitled to monthly social allowances include: People with severe disabilities, people with particularly severe disabilities according to the provisions of law on people with disabilities.

Point e, Clause 1, Article 6 of Decree 335/2026/ND-CP stipulates the level of support for subjects specified in Clause 6, Article 5 of this Decree:

Coefficient 2.0 for people with particularly severe disabilities;

Coefficient 2.5 for children with particularly severe disabilities or elderly people with particularly severe disabilities;

Coefficient 1.5 for severely disabled people;

Coefficient 2.0 for children with severe disabilities or elderly people with severe disabilities.

Clause 2, Article 4, Decree 335/2026/ND-CP stipulates: The standard level of social assistance is 540,000 VND/month.

Thus, from October 5, 2026, the monthly social allowance level for each disability group is as follows:

People with particularly severe disabilities: 540,000 VND x 2.0 = 1,080,000 VND.

Children or elderly people with particularly severe disabilities: 540,000 VND x 2.5 = 1,350,000 VND.

Severely disabled people: 540,000 VND x 1.5 = 810,000 VND.

Children or elderly people with severe disabilities: 540,000 VND x 2.0 = 1,080,000 VND.
