Choosing people to draw lottery prizes who do not meet the conditions will be fined up to 60 million VND

Clause 2, Article 16, Decree 389/2026/ND-CP stipulating penalties for administrative violations in the field of lottery business (effective from November 30, 2016) stipulates a fine of 40 million VND to 60 million VND for one of the following violations:

a) Selecting people to draw prizes who do not meet the conditions according to the provisions of law;

b) Not having enough people to draw prizes according to the provisions of law;

c) The lucky draw time is not in accordance with the law;

d) Organizing the drawing of prizes not in accordance with procedures.

Thus, from November 30, 26, businesses that choose people to draw lottery prizes who do not meet the conditions will be fined up to 60 million VND.
