Ho Chi Minh City brings smart health check-up devices to commune health stations
Ho Chi Minh City - The operation of smart health check-up kiosks and suitcases at Dat Do Commune Health Station contributes to improving the healthcare capacity of local people.
On August 9, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that it had just coordinated with Kingston Healthcare Technologies Vietnam Co., Ltd. to organize the donation of smart health check-up kiosks and suitcases to Dat Do Commune Health Station.
Dr. Huynh Minh Chin - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that previously the operation of smart health check-up kiosks and suitcases was only deployed in large hospitals, not yet deployed at local health stations.
The set of equipment donated to Dat Do Commune Health Station in this phase is worth about 300 million VND; it is upgraded to a more modern level compared to many devices currently in operation. In which it integrates many features such as receiving and guiding people to perform the examination process; measuring health indicators; and connecting and storing data on the health management system...
People only need to place a citizen identification card and stand on the kiosk to have all basic parameters and forecasts. Smart suitcases can be connected for remote diagnosis, supporting local doctors in some cases," Dr. Huynh Minh Chin explained.

The operation of modern equipment at Dat Do Commune Health Station will contribute to reducing waiting times, creating convenience for people; and supporting medical facilities in medical examination and treatment, and electronic health records management in the coming time.
In the immediate future, the Department of Health will pilot in Dat Do and Minh Thanh communes, and is expected to continue to donate to Hung Long commune in the near future. The support for smart health check-up kiosks and suitcases is mobilized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health from socialized sources to improve the ability to provide medical examination and treatment for people in the locality," Dr. Huynh Minh Chin informed.
According to Dat Do Commune People's Committee, the donation of smart health check-up kiosks and suitcases is a practical and meaningful gift at a time when the locality is implementing a periodic health check-up program for people according to the policy of Ho Chi Minh City; deploying and promoting the application of digital technology in community health care. Thereby contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, better meeting the health care needs of people in the commune.
