General Secretary To Lam meets with veteran cadres and meritorious people

On the afternoon of March 28 in Da Nang city, General Secretary To Lam chaired a meeting of Party and State leaders with revolutionary veterans, meritorious people, and typical policy families in the Central - Central Highlands region.

This is an activity organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee in coordination with the Central Party Office and relevant local agencies and units on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department and the Central Mobilization - reviewed historic milestones, the contribution of the revolutionary cadres, people with meritorious services, typical policy families in the Central region in the resistance war in the South and the reunification of the country. At the same time, this is an occasion when General Secretary To Lam and the leaders of the Party and the State wish to listen to the opinions, contributions, thoughts and aspirations of representatives of the old revolutionary cadres, people with meritorious services, typical policy families in the Central region.

In their statements, representatives of revolutionary veteran cadres, meritorious people, and typical policy families in the Central region, in addition to reviewing traditional policies, highly appreciated the very practical and humane policies of the Party and State in recent times.
