General Secretary To Lam attends art program in Da Nang

On the evening of March 28, at Trung Vuong Theater, Da Nang City, General Secretary To Lam attended the art program "The Party in the spring of great victory". The program was held solemnly to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of Da Nang City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025), 50 years of the liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025) and 50 years of the liberation of the South, the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Also attending were Politburo members: Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc; General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security.

Also attending were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Le Hoai Trung; Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh.

The art program "Dai Thang Spring Party" includes two chapters "Mai tin theo Dang" and "Mua xuong Dai Thanh". Including outstanding music and dance performances praising the glorious Party, the great President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic feats of the Vietnamese people in the struggle for national liberation and national reunification.

The program also recreated the heroic atmosphere of the 1975 General Offensive and rebellion in 1975, the peak of the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign. The program also had the participation of revolutionary veterans, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, and historical witnesses such as Senior Lieutenant General Vo Tien Trung and Captain Nguyen Thi Tam. The two comrades shared touching stories about the years of hard fighting and sacrificing for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Lieutenant General Vo Tien Trung, since he was 11 years old, became the captain of the Youth Guerrilla and 12 years old to achieve the Second Liberation Victory Medal, was given K59 gun by General Nguyen Chi Thanh. Captain Nguyen Thi Tam, participating in guerrillas from 14 years old, 16 years old in Da Nang, transporting weapons, leading the army, resilient before the torture of the enemy.
