General Secretary meets with police officers supporting the Southern battlefield
On the afternoon of April 8, in Hanoi, General Secretary To Lam met with police officers supporting the Southern battlefield.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Also attending the meeting were Politburo members: General Phan Van Giang - Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security; Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai.
The great victory of Spring 1975 is a victory of great military stature, a brilliant symbol of patriotism, indomitable will and burning desire for freedom and peace of the Vietnamese people.
This is a victory of justice, an eternal pride of a brave people who have bravely stood up, broken the dominance, regained independence and freedom.
Each step forward of our army and people in that historic battle resounded like an immortal song, affirming the unshakable strength, will and belief of the Vietnamese people.
On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), many key commemorative activities were held, attracting the attention of the people.
