Accelerating the completion of the nearly VND2,000 billion road in Ninh Binh
Ninh Binh - The investor and construction units are making efforts to complete the East-West transport route, with a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND.
The East-West transport route project in Ninh Binh has a total length of 22.95km; the investment scale for phase I is 4 lanes; in which, the site clearance is carried out according to the plan of 8 lanes with a width of 70m.
The project has a starting point of the route connecting with National Highway 1A through Dong Giao Street (in Tay Son Ward, Tam Diep City) and an end point intersecting with National Highway 12B (in Van Phong Commune, Nho Quan District). This route is also connected to the North - South Expressway in the East at the Dong Giao intersection (Tam Diep city).
The project passes through Tam Diep city and Nho Quan district with a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND. This is the largest traffic project ever invested in the province approved by the locality.
Mr. Pham Quoc Chinh - Director of the Ninh Binh Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (project investor) said that currently, construction units are focusing on machinery and human resources to speed up the project's progress.
Up to now, the entire main route has been cleared, the construction unit has paved the road surface for about 20km, and is continuing to complete the construction of 110 culverts and 4 bridges on the entire route.
According to Mr. Chinh, the total capital allocated to the project to date is over 1,600 billion VND. The disbursed value reached VND1,400 billion and the estimated value of the completed construction and installation volume reached nearly VND1,000 billion.
"We are continuing to urge the construction unit to mobilize human resources, equipment, and work overtime to speed up the construction progress to ensure quality and project progress. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in June 2025" - Mr. Chinh said.
It is known that after completion, the East - West route will connect the west to the eastern extreme of Ninh Binh province, from the mountainous area of Nho district to the coastal district of Kim Son. In particular, the route connects synchronously with important national traffic axes such as North -South Expressway, NH1A, coastal road, North -South railway ... opening the direction of connection connection with the Ho Chi Minh route and inter -regional connection between the Northwest region (Hoa Binh, Son La) with the Red River Delta ...
