The National Assembly supports the implementation of cooperation agreements with Brazil
The National Assembly of Vietnam will support the approval and implementation of cooperation agreements between Vietnam and Brazil, especially in potential areas.
On the afternoon of March 28, at the National Assembly House, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
According to VNA, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man warmly welcomes Brazilian President Luiz inacio Lula Da Silva and the Brazilian high -ranking delegation to visit the state level to Vietnam. The Chairman of the National Assembly specially appreciated the president of the Senate and Brazilian National Assembly Davi Samuel Alcolumbre and the Brazilian House President Hugo Motta Wanderley to join the Brazilian high -ranking delegation to visit the state level to Vietnam, showing the high level of support of both the National Assembly and the Brazilian government for the friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries.
The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that the Vietnamese National Assembly wishes to promote cooperation with the Brazilian National Assembly to contribute to strengthening the foundation of relations between the two countries, while actively coordinating at regional and international multilateral parliamentary forums of which both countries are members.
The National Assembly Chairman affirmed that the Vietnamese National Assembly will support the approval and implementation of cooperation agreements between the two countries, especially in areas with great potential such as defense, agriculture, finance, information and communications, education, health, aviation transport, semiconductor industry, digital transformation, etc.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva was happy to realize that along with the good development of the two countries' relations, the cooperation between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the Brazilian National Assembly was also strengthened through mutual visitors, the establishment of two bilateral friendship groups; Believing that the two groups of friends and friendship will do well the role of a bridge to strengthen the friendship between the National Assembly and the people of the two countries.
The Brazilian President expressed his hope that the National Assemblies of the two countries would continue to strengthen cooperation on issues of mutual concern such as: Responding to climate change, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, serving the interests and needs of the people of the two countries as well as contributing to the protection of multilateralism in international parliamentary forums.
The two leaders agreed to increase contacts at high and all levels, between senior leaders of the two National Assemblies, between parliamentarians, National Assembly agencies, the Group of Friendship Parliamentarians, female Parliamentarians, and young Parliamentarians, promote the exchange of professional experiences in the field of legislative affairs, supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country.
The two leaders also agreed to continue promoting the role of the legislative bodies of the two countries in promoting bilateral relations; supervise and promote the Government, ministries, branches, localities, and enterprises to actively and effectively implement signed agreements and arrangements; support the business community as well as people of the two countries to live, study, invest and do business in each country.
On this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man respectfully invited President of the Brazilian Senate and National Assembly David Samuel Alcolumbre and President of the Brazilian House of Representatives Hugo Motta Wanderley to pay an official visit to Vietnam in the near future.
