Two General Secretaries, Presidents of Vietnam - China and two First Ladies attend tea party
General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife Ngo Phuong Ly, along with General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan attended the tea party.
After the state-level reception at noon on April 15, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan respectfully invited and attended the farewell tea party with General Secretary and President Su Lin and his wife Ngo Phuong Ly.
This is a special form of contact between the highest-level leaders of the two Parties and two countries, showing the respect, friendship, affection, and "comradeship" between the leaders of the two Parties and two countries.
In a friendly, sincere, joyful and cozy atmosphere, the two General Secretaries, the President and the two spouses together reviewed the tradition of friendship between the two Parties and the two countries, recalled memories and good feelings that the two General Secretaries and the two spouses had for each other every time they met; exchanged intimately about the culture, customs and habits of each country.
The two General Secretaries, Presidents and the two spouses highly appreciated the common perceptions and practical achievements made during this visit; agreed to jointly promote the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, the Vietnam - China Community of Shared Future with strategic significance to enter a new era of development.
