9th grade student picks up phone, asks police to return it to the person who dropped it
Lam Dong - Tuy Phong Commune Police have supported verification and returned phones to people who dropped them after a student picked them up and handed them over.
On April 15, Tuy Phong Commune Police (Lam Dong province) said they had supported the return of a mobile phone to a person who dropped it in the area.
Previously, while going to school, Nguyen Van Vung, a 9th grade student of Phong Phu Secondary School (Tuy Phong commune), discovered a mobile phone dropped on the roadside.
Immediately after picking it up, she proactively brought the property to report and hand it over to Tuy Phong Commune Police, asking them to find the person who dropped it to return it.

Upon receiving the information, the commune police deployed measures to verify and find the owner. Through verification, functional forces identified the owner of the property as Mr. Vo Gia Trinh (born 1987, residing in hamlet 2, Tuy Phong commune).
After completing the steps of checking and comparing information, Tuy Phong Commune Police proceeded to hand over the phone to Mr. Trinh.
The person who received the property back expressed their gratitude for Vung's honest actions right from school and the timely support of the police force.
